Cornelis Gerard is a punk-poet / insensitive singer-songwriter based in London. Together with his band he plays a punk and indie-rock fusion in combination with trademark witty lyrical storytelling. The music is immediate and intense while the words observe life in gritty and glorious detail from a unique point of view.

Cornelis has a Dutch and Northern-Irish background but for the past several years he has called London his home. It’s the place where he made the decision to step up to the mic after previously supporting vocalists with his inventive guitar playing style. Believing he had something unique to say as a songwriter he regularly has people singing along by the time he hits the second chorus in a song.

Cornelis is releasing four songs over the course of the Autumn and is performing in London and the South-East with his band to support each release. Adrenaline Overdose was released on the 30th of August. The next single Look Back and Laugh is out on the 23rd of September.
